SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball continues its seven-game homestand on Tuesday with a meeting against USC.

Tipoff between the Broncos and Trojans (5-5) is set for 7 p.m. in Leavey Center.

The Broncos have produced their best offensive outputs of the season in four of the last five games and come away with a victory in each of those 80-plus point performances. On Thursday, Keshawn Justice (16 points) led five players in double figures, Josh Martin posted his third double-double (14 points/12 rebounds) of the season and Santa Clara shot a season-best 53 percent from the floor in cruising to an 82-54 victory over Mississippi Valley State.

QUICK HITS...
• Tahj Eaddy (15.7 ppg) leads four players scoring in double figures. Josip Vrankic is averaging 12.9 points and 6.2 rebounds (second on the team) per game. Trey Wertz (11.5) ranks first in the West Coast Conference on the freshman scoring list. Keshawn Justice, another freshman, is scoring at a 10.3 point-per-game clip. Josh Martin is the leading rebounder at 9.4 per contest, which ranks second in the WCC. He is also the most efficient 3-point shooter (47.1 percent) on the team.
• Injuries have plagued the Broncos and shrunk the rotation to eight players. Four players have miss games this season, including three who remain on the shelf. Two-time All-West Coast Conference guard KJ Feagin (hand) and Fallou Ndoye (foot) are out of action indefinitely, and Juan Ducasse (knee) is done for the season.
• Eaddy is averaging 6.3 assists in the last three games ... Martin is averaging 12.0 rebounds over the last six games ... Eaddy has hit 21 of his last 23 (91.3 percent) from the free-throw line ... Vrankic is averaging 2.2 blocks over the last six games.
• 80.4 percent (624 of 776 points) of the team's offensive production has come from newcomers. 

YEAR THREE UNDER SENDEK...
The Broncos are in their 112th year of existence, including third under Herb Sendek, who has been successful in each of his three previous head-coaching stops. With a resume that includes 18 postseason appearances and three conference coach of the year awards, Sendek, was one of the three youngest coaches with 400 or more career victories. He is in his 25th season as a collegiate head coach with stops at Arizona State, North Carolina State and Miami (Ohio).

NEW-LOOK ROSTER...
• Guard KJ Feagin, and forwards Henrik Jadersten and Josip Vrankic are the only returning rotational players this season. Feagin, a three-year starter, is a two-time All-West Coast Conference selection who averaged 17.5 points per game (fifth in the league) and 4.0 assists pg (ninth in the league) in 2017-18. Jadersten, a senior, appeared in 84 games his first three years and Vrankic was one of the more productive freshmen in the WCC during 2017-18. Vrankic was third on the team in both scoring (10.4 ppg) and rebounding (4.6 pg).
• Sophomore guard Tahj Eaddy is eligible this season after sitting out 2017-18. He transferred from Southeast Missouri last summer.
• There are eight additions to the 2018-19 squad, including five true freshmen in Guglielmo Caruso (Naples, Italy), Juan Ducasse (Montevideo, Uruguay), Keshawn Justice (Madison, Wisconsin), Zeke Richards (Oak Park, California) and Trey Wertz (Charlotte, North Carolina). Fallou Ndoye, DJ Mitchell and Josh Martin are transfers. Ndoye (CSU Bakersfield) and Martin (Cal Poly) are graduate transfers. Mitchell played the last two seasons at Wake Forest and will sit out 2018-19.

ABOUT USC
The Trojans, who play in the Pac-12 Conference, are led by sixth-year head coach Andy Enfield. Five players score in double figures led by forwards Nick Rakocevic (15.2) and Bennie Boatwright (14.3). Rakocevic also averages a team-best 11.6 rebounds per game (No. 5 in the nation). USC has dropped its last three games and is playing its first true road game of the season.

THE USC SERIES...
The Trojans lead the all-time series 23-8 with the teams meeting for the second straight year though only third time since 1983-84. Last season in Los Angles, USC rolled past Santa Clara by an 82-59 score behind double-doubles from forwards Bennie Boatwright (21 points/11 rebounds) and Chimezie Metu (20 points/11 rebounds). In the previous meeting, the Trojans defeated Santa Clara, 86-73, in Los Angeles (Nov. 15, 2010). The programs met nearly annually from the 1950s into the 60s and then played a pair of home and away series (1971-72/1973-74; 1982-83/1983-84). Santa Clara has won the last three played at home.

Anthony Passarelli (play-by-play) and John Stege (analyst) will call the action during the season on radio and through TheW.tv at home. All Broncos home games and West Coast Conference contests (not on an ESPN platform or BYUtv) will also be streamed through TheW.tv (local blackout restrictions apply for games broadcast over the air).
