Men’s Basketball Senior Guard to Miss Remainder of the Season

SANTA CLARA, Calif.KJ Feagin of Santa Clara men's basketball will miss the remainder of the season due to a foot injury.

Feagin, who has played in only two games this season after breaking his left hand against UC Irvine on Nov. 15, had surgery on his right foot on Friday.

The senior guard, who is a two-time All-WCC selection, is a three-year starter who averaged 17.5 points (fifth in the WCC) and 4.0 assists (ninth in the WCC) per game in 2017-18.

Feagin has played in 83 career games (81 starts), averaging 14.2 points and 4.0 assists. He ranks tied for 26th on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,182 points.

The Broncos have been hit by the injury bug this season with only eight scholarship players currently available.

Juan Ducasse will miss 2018-19 after having knee surgery in August. Henrik Jadersten suffered a stress fracture in his foot in the preseason and did not return until the second game of the season. Fallou Ndoye suffered a torn tendon in his foot against San Jose State (Nov. 24) and is out indefinitely. Ezekiel Richards (ankle) missed the USC game on Dec. 18, but returned vs. Idaho (Dec. 21). In addition, Matt Hauser, who would have been a senior, did not to play this season due to a foot injury.
