Gonzaga (19-2, 6-0 West Coast Conference) shot 51 percent from the field, committed just two turnovers and out-rebounded the Broncos, 44-27, to remain undefeated in the league and claim its 27th-straight conference road win, a new NCAA record.
Rui Hachimura and Zach Norvell Jr. scored 16 each and Perkins dished out a game-high eight assists.
The Zags had a nearly flawless first half, scoring the first 14 points and took a 53-17 lead into the locker room on 57-percent shooting without committing a single turnover. The first-half surge was fueled by Perkins and Hachimura who scored 14 points apiece on a combined 11 of 15 shooting from the floor.
Brandon Clarke and Filip Petrusev each scored 12 for the Zags who led by as many as 61.
Josip Vrankic scored 12 points and Trey Wertz chipped in 11, but the Broncos (11-10, 3-4) shot a season-low 27 percent from the field, gave up 14 offensive rebounds and turned the ball over 18 times, leading to 26 points for the Zags.
NOTES
• In a series which began in 1946, Gonzaga leads, 63-30. The Bulldogs have won 28 of the last 29, including 19 straight, meetings. Santa Clara's last victory occurred on Jan. 20, 2011, when the Broncos downed the Bulldogs, 85-71, in Leavey Center. Gonzaga's winning streak is eight in Leavey Center.
• The crowd of 5,094 is a record for the facility. The previous high of 5,092 came against Gonzaga on March 1, 1999 when it was Toso Pavilion.
