Men’s Basketball Unveils 2019-20 Nonconference Schedule

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's basketball will have plenty of home cooking during the nonconference portion of the 2019-20 schedule.

The Broncos, led by fourth-year head coach Herb Sendek, will play 13 of their 15 nonconference games in the friendly confines of Leavey Center highlighted by the Cable Car Classic in November.

In addition, three Pac-12 Conference games are on the schedule, including home tilts against Washington State (Nov. 12) and California (Dec. 7). Santa Clara plays at Stanford on Nov. 16

The Broncos open the season at home against UC Santa Cruz on Nov. 5.

The three-day Cable Car Classic features Denver, Southeast Missouri and Cal State Fullerton. Each team will play three times with two games scheduled for Nov. 27, Nov. 29 and Nov. 30.

The Broncos close the nonconference slate with a home matchup against Alcorn State (Dec. 29).

Later this summer, the 16-game West Coast Conference schedule, along with nonconference game times, will be announced. League matchups for 2019-20 were announced in May.
