Just one game remains on the 2021-22 regular season schedule prior to the start of the WCC Tournament next week. The Broncos will host Portland for a 2:00 p.m. tip as they look to lock up their top-4 seed in the tournament. Santa Clara will honor seven seniors prior to the game as part of Senior Day festivites.
- Student-athletes Max Dorward, Keshawn Justice, PJ Pipes and Josip Vrankic will take part in the Senior Day Ceremony. Joining them will be managers Carter Gutz, Jeremy King and Chris Sarkissian.

The Broncos are currently 9-5 in the WCC and sit in third in the conference standings heading into Saturday. Santa Clara is 19-10 overall and is looking to capture their 20th victory for the second time in the last three years. They are coming off an 89-73 victory over Pepperdine in Malibu.

Santa Clara is 10th nationally in field goal percentage (48.8) and is one of just five teams in the nation that is shooting 48.8 percent from the floor and 37.5 percent from 3-point range.

Santa Clara has won eight of their last 11 games with the lone losses coming at the hands of San Francisco twice (88-85 and 74-58) and against No. 1 Gonzaga on the road (81-69). The Broncos have shot 49.8 percent from the floor and are averaging 77.8 points during the stretch. Four individuals are averaging 10.0 ppg or better - Jalen Williams (16.5), Josip Vrankic (15.3), PJ Pipes (13.4) and Keshawn Justice (10.3).

The Portland Pilots have fared well this season with a 7-6 mark in league play and 17-12 overall. They currently have four players averaging 10.0 ppg or better. Tyler Robertson has been the best of the bunch with 15.1 ppg while also pulling down 6.4 rebounds per game.

Santa Clara has won the last 12 in the series and is 70-33 all-time against the Pilots. The teams last met in the opening round of last year's WCC Tournament in which the Broncos won 95-86.
- Josip Vrankic has 1,728 career points heading into Saturday's game and needs just eight more to tie Kurt Rambis for third on the school's all-time career scoring list.
- Jalen Williams leads the WCC with 520 total points, and is the first Bronco with a 500-pt season since KJ Feagin in 2017-18. Williams is also second in the WCC in ppg with 17.9. He enters Saturday's game needing just 19 points to secure 1,000 for his career.
EVENT PROTOCOL - INDOOR
SCU Athletics has returned to full capacity for indoor events. Spectators attending men's and women's basketball games at the Leavey Center will be required to show proof of Covid vaccination or a negative test. Click here for detailed entry requirements.
Guests and essential game staff will be required to wear a mask at all times while at the event. N95, KN95, or KF94 masks are recommended. To eliminate the opportunity for patrons to remove masks, concessions and bistro will be closed and no outside food or drink will be permitted. Patrons not complying with the mask requirement will be removed from the event.
