Abby Baumgartner is in her first season as a graduate assistant for the Santa Clara men's basketball program. She joined the team in the 2022 offseason.
Baumgartner, daughter of Santa Clara Director of Athletics Renee Baumgartner, graduated from USC in 2022 with a bachelor's in communication and a minor in sports media studies. She is currently pursuing a Master's in educational leadership from Santa Clara University.
During her time at USC, Baumgartner worked for the Trojans' men's basketball program as a student assistant, assisting with social media coverage and marketing duties.
Originally from Eugene, Ore., she moved to Santa Clara during high school and graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School in 2018. In her spare time, she enjoys working out, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
