Santa Clara, Calif.-Bronco freshman guard James Rahon scored a career-high 25 points in helping Santa Clara beat Houston Baptist 85-59 on Sunday. It was his second straight 20+ game as he scored 21 in the win over USF on Friday.

John Bryant had 20 points and 21 rebounds as the Broncos (9-13) won their second straight following a six-game losing streak. Bryant has 15 double-double's this season, just one back of the country's double-double leader, Blake Griffin, who has 16 for Oklahoma this season.

Kevin Foster added 15 points. Foster tied the Santa Clara freshman school record with his 51st three pointer this season.

Andrew Puzyk scored a season-high 20 points to lead the Huskies (2-18), who are 2-4 since opening the season with 14 straight losses. Baron Sauls added 14 points.

Bryant recorded his fourth game of 20-plus rebounds, and the fourth time he's had at least 20 points and 20 rebounds in a game. It's his 38th double-double of his career.

Houston Baptist led for most of the first half before Santa Clara managed to edge ahead, 37-34, at halftime.
