Santa Clara Men's Basketball Announces 2007-08 Television Schedule

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara University athletic department announced the 2007-08 television schedule for men's basketball today. The men will play 12 televised games this season, beginning in December. Locally, Santa Clara partnered with Comcast SportsNet to bring fans five games in 2007-08. The Broncos will also appear four times on ESPNU, twice on ESPN2, and twice on Fox Sports Net.

The men's basketball team will make their first televised appearance beginning with their game at Stanford on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 7:30 p.m. PT on Fox Sports Net. They also appear on FSN at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16 for their game at Pepperdine.

On the ESPN family of networks, the Broncos will make five appearances: Dec. 22 at Minnesota, Jan. 21 versus Pepperdine and Feb. 4 against Portland on ESPNU, and Mar. 3 at Gonzaga on ESPN2. The game on Monday, Feb. 11 at 8:00 p.m. against Saint Mary's will be televised on either ESPNU and ESPN2.

Santa Clara will begin its Comcast SportsNet appearances at Saint Mary's on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 5:00 p.m. and will make four more appearances on the station. The games on Comcast continue at San Francisco on Monday, Jan. 28 at 7:00 p.m., followed by a game on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 4:00 p.m. against Gonzaga at the Leavey Center, Feb. 25 versus San Francisco and Mar. 1 at Portland.
