Caitlin Bellotti was named Santa Clara’s Assistant Men’s Crew Coach prior to the 2010-11 season. Bellotti was a four-year coxswain for the Broncos men's crew team, helping SCU win the 2010 West Coast Conference Championship her senior year.
As the Broncos’ Assistant Men’s Crew Coach, Bellotti assists in all aspects of the program, focusing on rowing technique and coaching the coxswains. She also plays a key role in the team’s publicity, working as paid graduate assistant in the SCU athletic marketing department.
Bellotti is the top assistant to all game day development for SCU men’s basketball. She helps coordinate the spirit groups on campus as well, working with the cheer and dance teams, Ruff Riders and Pep Band.
An excellent undergraduate student, Bellotti graduated from Santa Clara in June of 2010 with a degree in History and a minor in Italian. She comes from a long line of Santa C;ara alumni, in fact she is the 27th member of her family to attend SCU. Her grandfather, Pat Malley, was the former head football coach and athletics director.
She is currently pursuing an M.A. in Education.
