SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Three members of Santa Clara men's golf were named to the 2017-18 All-West Coast Conference team.
Hayden Shieh and Matt McCarty were on the first team, and Derek Ackerman was an honorable mention.
That trio helped the Broncos finish tied for the third in this week's WCC Championship by placing among the top 15. They also helped lead the No. 49-ranked Broncos to three team titles and seven finishes among the top three in their 11 events during the year.
Shieh (73), McCarty (144) and Ackerman (239) all rank among the top 250 players in the nation in adjusted scoring average according to Golfstat.com.
Shieh was a first All-WCC honoree for the third-straight season.
