Men's Golfer Earns Spot on the WCC All-Academic Team

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Santa Clara's Hayden Shieh was named to the 2017-18 West Coast Conference Men's Golf All-Academic team.

Shieh helped the Broncos claim three regular-season team titles and earn a tie for third in the WCC Championship this season.

A three-time first-team All-WCC selection and three-time NCAA Championships qualifier, Shieh maintains a 3.57 grade-point average accounting.

The senior posted a team-best 70.42 stroke average and posted six top 10 finishes, playing in all 11 events. He is No. 78 on the Golfstat.com national ranking in adjusted scoring average (71.33).

Shieh WCC All-Academic honors for the third-straight season. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team.
