
CORVALLIS, Ore. - Berk Harvey's 4-under-par 67 has Santa Clara men's golf in seventh place after Monday's opening round of the Oregon State Invitational.
Harvey's season-best round, which places him in a three-way tie for first, has the Broncos in seventh place through 18 holes of the 14-team tournament. The second round, not able to be completed due to darkness, will conclude Tuesday morning prior to the third round.
Santa Clara shot a 7-over 291 on the Trysting Tree Golf Club course, one shot back of sixth-place and host Oregon State.
Washington leads the field at 8-under 276 and Boise State is second at 5-under 279.
Havey is tied with Skyler Eubank of Boise State and RJ Manke of Washington.
Konrad Brauckmeyer is next among the Bronco entries. He is tied for 33rd at 3-over 74. Jack Avrit and Jolo Magcalayo are each one shot back of Brauckmeyer in a tie for 43rd.
Oscar Zimmerman rounds of the Santa Clara lineup. He is tied for 71st at 8-over 79.
