Men's Golf Wraps Up Day One At John Burns Intercollegiate

KAUAI, Hawaii - Senior golfer Berk Harvey carded a 1-under 71 and is currently in a 13-way tie for 24th after the opening round of the John Burns Intercollegiate held at the par-72 Ocean Course at Hokuala. 

Santa Clara men's golf is currently in a four-way tie for 14th in the team standings after an opening round-296. Arizona is the day one leader at 13-under 275.

Zack Kaneshiro shot a 2-over 74 to tie for 53rd while Oscar Zimmerman carded a team-best five birdies and is tied for 72nd at 3-over 75. Konrad Brauckmeyer (4-over 76) is tied for 81st while Jack Avrit is 101st after an opening-round 82. 

Cal's Simon Kwon holds the invidual lead after 18 holes at 7-under 65.
