SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The West Coast Conference Champion Santa Clara University men's soccer team drew Sacramento State University in first round play of the 2010 NCAA College Cup tournament.

The match will be played at Sacramento State's Hornet Soccer Field on Thursday, November 18 at 2 p.m. PT**. The winner will move on to face national No. 8 seed UCLA Sunday, November 21 at 5 p.m PT.

The two Northern California teams faced each other earlier this season, playing to a 1-1 draw September 26 in Sacramento.

Santa Clara (10-5-5) went unbeaten in 13 of 14 games and clinched the WCC Championship on the season's final day. The Broncos are the only WCC team to qualify for the tournament. It marks the sixth NCAA tournament bid for the Broncos in nine years under head coach Cameron Rast and first since 2007.

Sacramento State (10-4-7) won its second-consecutive Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament Championship and will be making a back-to-back appearance in the tournament.

Santa Clara has dominated the all-time series with Sacramento State, winning 25 of 27 meetings dating back to 1974.
