TULSA, Okla. – Santa Clara men's soccer will try to extend its three-game winning streak against Tulsa at 5 p.m. PT on Monday, Sept. 19.
The Broncos are 2-0 all-time against the Golden Hurricane. The most recent matchup came in 2003 and the Broncos were victorious, 2-1.
"Tulsa is a good team," Rast said. "They've been in the playoffs (NCAA Tournament) consistently over the last 10 years. The big challenge for us is going to be making sure that as we're transitioning between Dallas and Tulsa, Oklahoma, which is a little bit of a hike, we settle in, get ourselves ready and are prepared come game time."

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (4-2) has the best goals against average in the West Coast Conference, allowing just 0.50 goals per game. Along with being tops in the league, that is a top-20 mark in the nation. An experienced back line in front of sophomore goalkeeper Dakota Havlick has allowed just three goals after six games and posted three shutouts.
Scoring has not come easy for the Broncos, totaling five goals in six games. Junior Carlos Delgadillo is the leading scorer on the team with two goals, both of which were game-winners. Delgadillo has scored seven game-winners in his career and 16 goals overall. Junior Satoshi "Yoshi" Chaffin has pitched in three points (assists worth one, goals worth two) on the year, scoring the Broncos opening goal against CSUF and assisting on the game-winning goal. Senior Edson Cardona scored the game-winning goal for SCU from the penalty spot in the match against Northwestern on Aug. 29.
THE GOLDEN HURRICANE
Tulsa (2-2-2) enters the match against the Broncos having just had a four-game unbeaten streak snapped by No. 16 Akron on Friday night. The Golden Hurricane dropped its season opener to CSUN, then won two and tied two of the next four matches before the matchup against Akron.
Jacob Gooden and Ray Saari each have scored three goals for Tulas on the year. Saari is also tied for the most assists on the team with Quinton Duncan at two. The Golden Hurricane average scoring 1.50 goals per game.
Goalkeeper Jake McGuire has played every minute of the team's six games, allowing seven goals for a 1.09 goals against average. McGuire has recorded two shutouts on the season and is tied for the most shutouts in program history with 13.
Tulsa posted an 8-6-7 overall record and 3-3-2 mark in the American Athletic Conference in 2015. It won the AAC Tournament title to claim the automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament and lost in the second round on penalty kicks to Notre Dame.
