Men's Soccer Stays in Northwest to Face Washington Sunday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's soccer stays in the Northwest for a showdown at Washington Sunday at 2 p.m.

On Thursday, the Broncos came-from-behind twice at Seattle but ended up falling 5-2 to the Redhawks.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 9-7-1 all-time against Washington with the first meeting coming in 1973. In 2013, the Huskies beat the Broncos 4-1 at then-Buck Shaw Stadium. The last Santa Clara win was 3-2 OT victory in 2006 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

THE BRONCOS
