Meet the Future of Bronco Men’s Soccer – Julian Bravo
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's soccer announced the first member of its incoming recruiting class for the 2018-19 season, Julian Bravo.  The midfielder currently attends Claremont High School in Claremont, California.

"From my very first visit, I immediately felt an environment which felt like home. I remember how friendly and kind everyone was to my family and I. From then on I was comfortable picturing myself being there for the next chapter of my life. As I started to learn more about the university I couldn't help but acknowledge the vision in which Santa Clara holds in regards to developing not only well-rounded students, but also good people within the community in the light of a Jesuit foundation. I grew up Catholic and now I am a confirmed Catholic who feels that the best place to develop into the person that I want to be is right here at Santa Clara University. I not only feel that I will be challenged in ways I cannot imagine yet, but also I will be nurtured into someone who wants to make a difference. That's why I chose to be Bronco," said Bravo.

The six-foot-two left footer was the first commitment in this year's class and plays for the club team FC Golden State Academy.

"Julian is a very talented player out of FC Golden State Academy in Southern California.  He has great range in his ability both to be an attacking type of player but can also help defensively.  He moves well and has a great feel for the game.  You want talent and players that work hard but sometimes they don't have the feel that Julian has so we think he could be special for us," said Broncos head coach Cameron Rast.

Our next future Bronco, Sakari Carter, will be announced the week of Feb. 19.
