Men’s Soccer to Play Third Consecutive Road Match on Monday
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's soccer will play its third consecutive road match on Monday at 5 p.m. PT, facing Missouri State in the first meeting between the two schools.

The Broncos (1-3) will look to pick up its first win since the season opener after dropping a pair in Virginia last weekend, losing at No. 25 Old Dominion, 3-0, on Friday and falling at VCU, 1-0, in overtime on Sunday.

Against the nationally ranked ODU, the start of the match was delayed by an hour due to lightning in the area.  The Broncos gave up a goal in the first half and a pair in the second half in dropping the road opener to the Monarchs.  And against VCU, which was an NCAA Tournament team last season, Santa Clara battled VCU through 90 minutes of scoreless play in regulation but conceded the golden goal seven minutes into overtime.
