SENIOR (2019): For the third straight season, was named to the WCC All-Academic team, the first Bronco named to the All-Academic squad in three consecutive years since Glenn Vass from 2012 to 2014 ... appeared in 16 of the 17 matches and scored a pair of goals and assisted in two others ... tallied his first career goal in the season opener against Holy Cross (Aug. 30) and scored against San Jose State (Sept. 6) ... credited with an assist against San Francisco (Oct. 30) and at Gonzaga (Nov. 9).
JUNIOR (2018): Named to the WCC All-Academic team for the second consecutive year ... started in two of the 15 matches he appeared in, logging 590 minutes.
SOPHOMORE (2017): Named second-team College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-American, recognized for his combined performance athletically and in the classroom ... named to the WCC All-Academic team ... appeared in 15 matches, starting in six ... started in all but one conference match ... logged 619 minutes in conference play out of 651 available minutes ... recorded two assists.
FRESHMAN (2016): Played in eight games for the Broncos ... took shots on the year, one of which was on target ... provided support in the midfield and helped the Broncos in the attack.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played soccer at Lakeside High School … led his squad to a state championship in 2014 and undefeated regular season finish in 2015 … named All-Conference Second Team during his sophomore season and All-Conference First Team as a junior … scored six goals and dished out seven assists during his junior year ... played for last year’s national championship U-16 team, Seattle United.
CLUB: Helped his team capture five championships on one year, including a state title and Far West Regional crown … during this run Agosti was the leading scorer in the state cup.
PERSONAL: The son of Thomas Agosti and Julie Brown, Sam was born in Seattle ... has one brother, Benji.
