AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2000-01: Won 22 matches, including three wins over ranked players from TCU, Arizona State and Washington, en route to claiming the top spot in SCU's list of single season victories... with his victory at No. 5 singles, tied the match against UC Santa Barbara at three all, allowing a Bronco teammate to clinch the program's first team victory over UCSB... played mostly in the fourth and fifth slots and went 13-7 in dual action... defeated LMU's Beau Berglund 6-1, 6-0 in under 30 minutes during the first round of the league championships.
