Men's Tennis to Host Santa Clara Classic

Nov. 5, 2002

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara University men's tennis team will host the Santa Clara Classic this weekend to close out fall play. Action will take place Friday through Sunday at the SCU Tennis Center. Members from Fresno State University and the University of San Francisco will join the Broncos in the tournament.

As rain is scheduled for this weekend's forecast, provisional plans are being made to move the event indoors. Details will be released as plans solidify.

This invitational concludes the Broncos' fall season. Santa Clara will open spring play on January 18, when the team hosts UC Santa Cruz at the SCU Tennis Center. First serve is slated for 10 a.m.
