Men's Tennis Falls 5-2 to Pacific

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Santa Clara University men's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision at Pacific this evening in non-conference action in Stockton. The Broncos' record falls to 9-12 on the season. The Tigers improve to 12-8.

The Broncos battled in doubles play before losing two of the three courts in tiebreakers. In singles action, Junior Francisco Zepponi and freshman Bobby Rasmussen earned victories for Santa Clara. The win marked Zepponi's third straight and Rasmussen's eighth in his last nine matches.

The Broncos will close out the regular season at Saint Mary's on Saturday at noon. SCU will return home to the Degheri Tennis Center to host the 2004 West Coast Conference Championships April 23-25.
