AS A SENIOR IN 2011-12: Named the Santa Clara Male Athlete of the Year … SINGLES: Achieved the highest individual ranking for a Santa Clara singles player in school history at No. 68 … played the entire season as Santa Clara’s No. 1 singles player … amassed an 18-10 record …  faced nine ranked opponents during the 2011-12 season … first Santa Clara player since 1999-2000 to be named All-WCC First Team in back-to-back seasons … picked up his 11th victory of the year against University of Idaho, defeating Marius Cieresta in straight sets … had two winning-streaks of five matches or more (Feb. 26 to Mar. 10 and Apr. 4 to Apr. 21) … defeated then-No. 20 Andre Dome of then-No. 49 Cal Poly in straight sets to guide Santa Clara to a 6-1 victory … his  6-4, 6-4 win over No. 51 Nikola Bubnic of then-No. 19 San Diego assisted in clinching a second place finish in the WCC. DOUBLES: Named All-WCC Honorable Mention with his most frequent partner, Tom Pham ... totaled 18 wins with Pham, third all-time in school history for doubles wins by a tandem in one season … tallied two winning streaks of seven or more (Feb. 24 to Mar. 23 and Apr. 4 to May 12) … defeated the nation’s No. 78 ranked duo of Ben Chen and Daniel Whitehead, the No. 2 duo from then-No. 19 Texas, 8-5 during Santa Clara’s first ever NCAA Tournament appearance, allowing Santa Clara to clinch the doubles point. 

AS A JUNIOR IN 2010-11: Finished the season 14-12 overall and a record of 2-3 in WCC dual matches … earned All-WCC First Team Singles honors … played at No. 1 singles all year … had four-match win streak from Apr. 3 to Apr. 18 defeating Gonzaga, Pacific, then-No. 46 Idaho and Sacramento State … played doubles with Nicolas Vinel and Thomas Pham throughout the season … with Vinel, compiled 8-2 overall record and 0-2 in WCC contests at No. 1 doubles … with Pham, earned the team best 8-2 overall record including six-match win streak from Apr. 1 to Apr. 21.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009-10: Finished the season at 13-11 overall, 4-1 in WCC dual matches ... earned All-WCC Second Team Singles honors ... played at either No. 1 or No. 2 singles ... had two three-match win streaks throughout the season ... first win streak from Mar. 23-Mar. 27 defeating EWU's Nico Riego de Dios 6-4, 6-3; UC Riverside' s Quoc Doan 7-5, 6-1; and Montana's Carl Kuschke 6-2, 6-1 ... second win streak from Apr. 4-Apr. 10 defeating Gonzaga's Conor Feeney 6-1, 6-1; Pacific's Artema Gramma 6-4, 4-6, 7-5; and LMU's Otto Sauer 6-1, 6-4 ... played doubles with both Nicolas Vinel and Grant Fleming throughout the season ... with Vinel, compiled 6-7 overall record, going 2-0 in WCC contests ... with Fleming, went 5-0 at No. 3 doubles.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008-09: Was an All WCC Honorable Mention player ... he was ranked 1st in the Philippines in all age groups ... he has posted 130 career international victories, 68 in singles and 62 in doubles ... ranked a career high No. 74 in the International Tennis Federation ... compiled an 8-7 overall singles record playing primarily at No. 2 singles ... at No. 2 doubles compiled a record of 6-10 with partner Tommy Hicks

PRIOR TO SCU: An ITF Singles champion at the age of 15 (total of five singles championships and three doubles championships) ... a member of the ITF World Touring Team in 2005 ... led the Philippine Junior Davis Cup team as the team's No. 1 singles player to a third place finish to qualify for the world group in Barcelona, Spain ... played in the Junior Australian Open, French Open, and Wimbledon Championships ... a member of the Philippine Davis Cup Team in 2008 against Japan and Uzbekistan.
