AS A SENIOR IN 2011-12:  SINGLES: Amassed a 20-11 overall record during 2011-12 … played as the Broncos’ primary No. 3 singles player, also appearing at No. 4 … finished the fall with a 3-1 record and an appearance in the semi-finals at the Gael Classic … instrumental in the Broncos’ first win against a ranked opponent, then-No. 48 Boise State, by defeating Garrett Patton in straight sets … won five straight matches from Feb. 19 to Mar. 4, including three three-set matches against Arkansas, Pacific and UCSB … tallied his 10th win of the year against Matt Walters of Arkansas in a comeback effort, winning 4-6, 6-3, 6-3 … finished undefeated during NCAA tournament play with a win against Sudwana Sitram of then-No. 19 Texas 6-6, 3-6, 1-0 (ret.) in a Santa Clara victory … DOUBLES: began the year ranked with senior Kyle Dandan as the ITA’s No. 37 ranked doubles team … anchored the Broncos’ No. 3 doubles team, playing with several partners … picked up 14 combined victories with three partners … primarily played with Eugene Muchynski … picked up an important win against then-No. 38 BYU with Muchynski allowing the Broncos to secure the doubles point and edge BYU 4-3 in the WCC opener … won a combined six WCC doubles matches … played both NCAA Tournament matches with Maxime Armengaud, who he began the year with before Armengaud missed time due to a hand injury.
