No. 49 Santa Clara Downs Utah 5-2

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The No. 49 Bronco men's tennis program picked up its third straight victory with a 5-2 neutral site win over Utah in Las Vegas, Nev. Santa Clara picked up solid victories in both singles and doubles and Tom Pham continued his perfect spring, improving his record to 8-0.

In the No. 2 singles spot,  sophomore John Lamble ignited the Broncos with a victory over Dymetro Mamedov. Pham continued his eight-match winnings streak with a victory over Ace Matias 7-5, 6-2. Ilya Osintsev and Eugene Muchynski also picked up singles victories for Santa Clara.

In doubles, the Broncos added two more victories. The tandem of Osintsev and Lamble eased to a 8-1 victory. The duo of Nicolas Vinel and Dandan, who entered the fall at school best No. 37 nationally, added an 8-4 victory to close out the dual match.

The Broncos will be back in action Sunday at No. 57 UNLV at 11:00 a.m.
