Playing its third straight West Coast Conference match on the road, No. 53 Santa Clara fell 4-0 at LMU on Monday afternoon. The Broncos are 10-3 and 2-1 in the WCC and the Lions are 10-5 and 2-2 in the WCC. LMU has won six straight matches. The order of finish was 2-3 in doubles and 6-4-3 in singles.

The match started with LMU clinching the doubles point with convincing wins at No. 2 and No. 3. LMU's No. 2 doubles team Luke Bohuslav and Daniel Simko defeated Ashot Khacharyan and Sam Bertram 8-2. The No. 3 team of David Doehring and Cristobal Rivera defeated Mikheil Khmiadshvill and Michael Tjuatjadarma 8-3.
No. 6 Daniel Simko won 6-2, 6-1, over Jesse Ross as the first singles match to finish. No. 4 Rivera defeated Khmiadshvill 6-1, 6-3 for LMU's third point.
No. 3 Sebastian Bustamante clinched the match wtih a 6-2, 6-3 singles victory over Khacharyan.
