SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference announced its 2014 All-WCC Men's Tennis Team and major award winners on Monday, as voted on by the conference coaches. Santa Clara's top three singles players John Lamble, Ilya Osintsev, and Ashot Khacharyan were recognized and Lamble and Osintsev earned doubles honors as well.

Lamble garnered All-WCC First Team honors after another terrific year at No. 1 singles for the Broncos. The senior, who is one of the most prolific players in program history, was an outstanding 14-1 in dual matches and 20-4 overall. His season-best winning streak was seven matches and he has won six matches in a row heading into the WCC Tournament.

With 80 career singles wins, Lamble is second all-time behind former teammate Tom Pham, who went 89-28. Lamble earned All-WCC First Team honors in singles last year, Second Team as a sophomore in 2012 and Honorable Mention in 2011.

Osintsev, who is currently ranked No. 117 in the ITA rankings, was named to the All-WCC Second Team in singles. The junior from Novosibirsk, Russia is an exceptional 12-1 during the regular season and 15-3 including the fall. He reeled off nine consecutive wins during the season, which was a team-best.

The lefty, who is the reigning WCC Player of the Week and won the award a WCC-best three times, picked up one of the Broncos' biggest individual wins this season. In the team's 4-2 upset of No. 39 Oregon, Osintsev earned a 7-5, 7-6 win over No. 59 Robin Cambier. Osintsev was named WCC Freshman of the Year in 2012 after recording a 20-3 record.

Khacharyan amassed a strong 14-6 record in his sophomore campaign and was named All-WCC Honorable Mention. He was a consistent force in the third singles spot in the lineup and racked up a seven match winning streak. The righty from Sochi, Russia tallied a 14-2 record as a freshman last season.

Lamble and Osintsev were named All-WCC First Team along with just two other doubles teams in the conference. The pair finished the regular season with an outstanding 14-2 dual match mark and was named WCC Doubles Team of the Week earlier in the season. Their consistency leading the doubles lineup helped the Broncos win the majority of the doubles points throughout the season, which played a large role in the team's overall success.

Lamble and Osintsev have 37 total victories across their Santa Clara doubles career together, which is the second-most victories by one team in program history. The duo was named All-WCC Honorable Mention in 2013 as well.

The No. 60 Santa Clara men's tennis team finished the 2014 regular season fourth in the WCC standings and received the No. 4 seed in the WCC Tournament, beginning on Wednesday.

In its first-round contest, Santa Clara faces St. Mary's on Wed., Apr. 23 at 9am. The WCC tournament will be held at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego. The top three seeds are San Diego (9-0), Pepperdine (8-1), and Portland (5-4).
