Men’s Tennis Beats Grand Canyon, 6-1
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis beat Grand Canyon, 6-1, on Saturday at Degheri Tennis Center.  
 
Playing on court No. 2, the Bronco pairing of Vasileios Iliopoulos and Jesus Tapiador Barajas beat Lorenzo Fucile and Justin Cvitanovic, 6-4, to clinch the doubles point.  The Iliopoulos and Barajas duo improved to 6-2 in doubles play this season.  
 
In singles play, Andrew Gu defeated Fucile in the first position to clinch the match for the Broncos, extending its winning streak to seven matches.  
 
Gu along with Connor Garnett, who won his singles match against Lucas Grego in three sets, 4-6, 7-5, 6-1, are both undefeated in singles play with 7-0 records.  
 
Santa Clara returns to action on Sunday against Sacramento State at 2 p.m. PT.
