Three Men’s Tennis Players Garner Academic All-WCC Honors

West Coast Conference Release

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis players Connor Garnett, Kamran Khan and Robert Seby have been named West Coast Conference All-Academic honorees for the 2017-18 season.  The conference made the announcement on Wednesday.  
 
To be recognized, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average while also being a significant contributor to his team.  Also the student-athlete must have at least sophomore athletic and academic standing with at least one year in residence completed at the nominating institution.  
 
Garnett, a junior, has a 3.404 grade point average (GPA).  Majoring in finance, Garnett was named to the WCC All-Academic Team for the second time.  
 
The Bellevue, Washington, native was named All-WCC Singles Honorable Mention this season.  
 
Seby, a junior majoring in biochemsitry, has a 3.715 GPA to earn his second WCC All-Academic Team honors.  The Oro Valley, Arizona, native was also named All-WCC Doubles Honorable Mention.  
 
Junior Kamran Khan has a 3.321 GPA to earn his second WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention honors majoring in finance.
