AS A SENIOR IN 2018-19: Named All-WCC Singles Honorable Mention, All-WCC Doubles Honorable Mention and WCC All-Academic Team ... recognized as an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athlete ... recorded a team-high tying 22 singles and 18 doubles wins finishing with 22-9 and 18-12 records ... finished career with 64 combinded doubles victories, the most in Santa Clara history surpassing Tom Pham (2009-13) and Erich Chen's (2000-04) previous record of 63 ...  FALL: Finished with a 7-4 record in singles and 2-4 in doubles.  SPRING: Posted a team-high 15 singles wins going 15-5 (5-2 on court four, 7-2 on court five, 3-1 on court six) including five match clinchers ... clinched matches against Liberty (Feb. 2), Washington (Feb. 3), Army (March 11), San Francisco (April 13) and LMU (April 19) ... the match clincher against Washington came with the match tied at 3-all beating Sebastian Hawken in three sets on the road ... named WCC Men's Singles Player of Week after recording the clinchers against Liberty and Washington on back-to-back matches ... won 10-straight singles matches from Jan. 27 - March 23 ... finished with a team-best 16-8 doubles record going 10-5 on court one while paired with Andrew Gu ... went 6-3 in doubles on court three ... partnered with Gu to go 6-3 in conference action ... played final 16 doubles matches at the No. 1 position.  

AS A JUNIOR IN 2017-18: Named All-WCC Doubles Honorable Mention and to the WCC All-Academic Team ... had a team best 17-10 overall record in doubles. FALL: Seby went 3-4 in singles and 5-3 in doubles in the fall…Went three for four in doubles action at the Aggie Invitational with partner Kamran Khan and was the number three seed in the tournament. SPRING: Finished with a 9-12 record playing in four position going 1-0 in court one, 5-6 in court two, 1-3 in court three and 2-3 in court four ... playing on court two against Army (Jan. 21), picked up the clinching point with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Gregory Shannon ... finished with a 3-4 singles record in conference play setting a career-high in conference singles wins ... played alongside Andrew Gu in doubles play posting a team best 12-7 record on court one including a 4-4 conference record ... knocked off San Diego's No. 63 doubles team of August Holmgreen and Joel Gamerov 6-4 to help the Broncos sweep No. 39 San Diego.  

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2016-17: Earned WCC All-Academic honors and was named to the All-WCC Singles Second Team. FALL: Posted a 2-4 singles record in the fall and went 3-2 in doubles ... Partnering with Connor Garnett, the duo made the doubles semifinal at the UC Davis Aggie Invitational in the "A" bracket. SPRING: Seby posted a 9-9 singles record during dual play, going 9-8 on court one and 0-1 on court two ... partnered with Jesus Tapiador Barajas in doubles play towards the end of the season and went 7-6 overall ... Seby and Garnett also partnered up in doubles action early in the dual match season and they went 5-2 on court one.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2015-16: SINGLES: finished with a 12-11 record on the season ... 10-8 mark in dual match play ... named WCC Freshman of the Year ... named to the All-WCC Singles Honorable Mention team ... named WCC men's singles Player of the Week on March 15 ...  tallied his first collegiate victory after overcoming Mikus Losbergs from Sacramento State by a score of 6-2, 2-6, 1-0(6) on October 2 ... rallied to defeat No. 66 Fresno State's Nikolas Papic 1-6, 7-5, 6-1 on January 30 ... clinched Santa Clara's come-from-behind victory over SDSU with a 4-6, 7-5, 6-1 victory against Sander Gjoels-Andersen on March 30 ... scored a match-clinching victory against USF on April 17. DOUBLES: finished with a 9-4 record on the season with partner Connor Garnett ... named to the All-WCC Doubles Honorable Mention team ... rallied to defeat No. 66 Fresno State's Nikolas Papic and Jeremy Moser 7-6 on January 30 ... overcame No. 59 Boise State's Brian Foley and Lewis Roskilly 6-3 on February 7 ... duo upset the No. 81 ranked pairing from USD 6-2 on April 24 ... 0-2 record on the season with partner Andrew Gu ... 1-1 record on season with partner Ashot Khacharyan ... 2-1 record on the season with partner Andrew Gu.

HIGH SCHOOL: played UTSA tennis instead of playing for his high school team … ranked as the No. 1 player in the state of Arizona … holds a record of 21-11 competing against four star, five star, and Blue Chip recruits.

PERSONAL: son of Matt Seby and Carmen Cecilia Ortiz-Seby … named an AP Scholar with Distinction … member of the Tucson Junior Strings, a chamber and symphony … spent time volunteering with the Tucson Community Food Bank … enjoys hiking, listening to music, going to the movies, and hanging out with friends … majoring in biochemistry and hopes to one day attend graduate school and play tennis professionally.
