Men’s Tennis Signs No. 52 Player From Switzerland
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis signed Arthur Neuhau, the No. 52 player in Switzerland, to a National Letter-Of-Intent to join the program for the 2018-19 season.  Broncos head coach Niall Angus made the announcement.

"Arthur is a very solid player.  He is good off the baseline and aggressive off both wings.  He is a player that is methodical about his play with a good work ethic and we are really excited to have him join us.  We think Arthur can come in and make an immediate impact in both singles and doubles," said Angus.

Neuhaus was a quarterfinalist of the Swiss junior championships U18 in 2017 with a win over the current No. 25 ranked ITF junior player, Damien Wenger.  In 2018, the Courtételle, Switzerland native has racked up five win over the top-50 Swiss players.

"I chose Santa Clara University because I believe that Coach Angus and his staff can help me to improve my tennis game along with Santa Clara's excellent academic reputation. The infrastructures that in place are simply awesome - from the campus, the coaching staff and the team - I think all are united to help me succeed on and off the court," said Neuhaus.

The six-foot right-hander was a doubles finalist at the Oberenfelden Junior tournament (grade 4) on the clay outdoor surface.

The Broncos open up their 2018-19 campaign on Sept. 28 at the Aggie Invitational in Davis, California.
