Men’s Tennis Signs No. 67-Ranked ITF World Junior Player
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis signed Mann Shah, the No. 67-ranked International Tennis Federation World Junior Player from Ahmedabad, India, to a National Letter-Of-Intent to the join the program.  Broncos head coach Niall Angus made the announcement.  
 
"In Santa Clara University I feel I will have a great chance to further my tennis career as well as my studies. I am sure these years at SCU will take my tennis game to a new level under head coach Niall Angus. I believe he and whole culture at Santa Clara will transform me into not only a better tennis player, but also a better human being.  I am eagerly waiting to be part of the great Bronco tradition," said Shah. 
 
While on the Junior Tour, Shah won 13 ITF titles in singles and doubles, including the Grade 3 ITF in Pune, helping him propel as the No. 1-ranked under-18 player in India.  The 6-foot-4 right-hander also participated in the Australian Open (Juniors) earlier this year.  
 
"We are delighted to welcome Mann Shah to Santa Clara.  His humble nature and work ethic will see him really fit into our team culture.  Having a player of the caliber of Mann join our program sends a statement about the progress of this program and we anticipate that Mann will help both on the singles and doubles court," said Angus.
