Men’s Tennis Hosts LMU Friday, Pepperdine Saturday on Senior Day
SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Four Santa Clara men's tennis seniors will be honored prior to Saturday's match against Pepperdine as the Broncos concludes its regular season hosting a pair of West Coast Conference matches.

Seniors Connor Garnett, Andrew Gu, Kamran Khan and Robert Seby will play their final home matches on the courts of Degheri Tennis Center when the Broncos host LMU on Friday and Pepperdine on Saturday.  First serves for both matches are at 11 a.m.

"It's a really special senior day for us and for me in particular.  These four seniors came in the same year I came in as a coach," said Niall Angus, who is in his third season as the Broncos head coach and the fourth overall with the program.  "I've had the chance to see them grow and evolve over the four years and really help turn the program around.  They are a massive part of why we are in the position we are in right now and I always tell the incoming freshman that their number one goal is to leave the program in a better place than you came and they've definitely done that."

Santa Clara (14-6, 4-3 WCC) currently is tied for fourth in the conference standings and will look to get a higher seed in the six-team conference tournament with their play over the weekend.

LMU (6-13, 4-3) and Pepperdine (10-11, 4-3) are on the same boat as the Broncos with its 4-3 conference records but both teams have struggled on the road with the Lions posting an 1-8 record and the Lions are 1-6.

The Broncos are 9-1 at home this season.
