Men’s Tennis Named as a 2019 ITA All-Academic Team

TEMPE, Ariz. – Santa Clara men's tennis was recognized by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association as a 2019 All-Academic team and three Broncos were named ITA Scholar-Athletes on Thursday.  
 
To be considered, All-Academic teams must have a team GPA of 3.20 or higher while ITA scholar-athletes have to maintain a grade point average of at least 3.50 for the current academic year, be a varsity letter winner and enrolled at their present school for at least two semesters.  
 
The eight-member Broncos squad boasted a 3.39 team GPA.  
 
Seniors Connor Garnett (3.693 GPA) and Robert Seby (3.624) along with junior Vasileios Iliopoulos (3.581) were named scholar-athletes.  The two seniors were honored for the second time this year after they earned West Coast Conference All-Academic honors in April.
