  • Santa Clara returns seven players (Ryan Ali, Nick Cmager, Guillaume Dalmasso, Santiago Hinojosa, Arthur Neuhaus, Matthew Rodriguez and Mann Shah) from last season when it finished 8-7, 4-4 WCC including victories in five of the last six matches in an abbreviated campaign composed of only the spring season.  The Broncos add two newcomers (James Bell and Karlo Kranic) who transferred from Louisville and Ole Miss, respectively.
  • The Broncos finished No. 5 in the Spring 2021 Oracle Intercollegiate Tennis Association regional team rankings.  Shah finished top-20 in singles with Arthur Neuhaus ranked No. 5 in doubles.
  • Last spring, Neuhaus was named All-WCC Second Team Doubles where he tied for the team lead (alongside Dominic Barretto) with six doubles victories and led the team with nine singles wins.
  • Shah earned his first conference honor when he finished the spring 7-8 including 3-7 at No. 1 and 4-1 at No. 2.  The sophomore from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India won three of his last four matches.
  • Head coach Niall Angus is in his sixth year as the head coach. He owns a 58-41 career record and has coached eight all-conference singles, seven all-conference doubles and nine conference all-academic honorees.
