Shah Captures ITA Super Regionals Singles Consolation Bracket Title

SEATTLE - Santa Clara men's tennis player Mann Shah won ITA Northwest Super Regional Championship singles consolation bracket defeating Stanford's Aryan Chaudhary on Sunday.

Shah downed Chaudhary in straight sets, 6-0, 7-5, to capture his second title of the fall.  The junior from Gujarat, India won the top-flight singles title at the UC Davis Aggie Invitational earlier this month.

In order to reach the finals, Shah had to get past teammate Arthur Neuhaus in the semifinals.  The two Broncos battled in a close match with Shah edging out a three set victory 3-6, 6-2, 1-0 (10-6).

Shah has now won seven of his first eight singles matches this fall.
