PROVO, Utah - Christian Lerby and Jack Pulliam's picked up wins in both double and singles to help lead Santa Clara men's tennis team to take down BYU 4-1 in a West Coast Conference match on Saturday.
The two Broncos teamed up to clinch the doubles point for Santa Clara (12-8, 4-2 WCC) at No. 2 defeating Zach Fuchs and Brigham Andrus 6-4 after the two squads split the first two doubles matches.
Santa Clara continued its momentum in singles action with wins by Pulliam and Lerby to take a 3-0 lead. At No. 6 Pulliam beat Brigham Andrus 6-3, 6-4 while Lerby handled the No.123-ranked Wally Thayne 7-6 (7-1), 6-2.
BYU (5-13, 3-3 WCC) got its lone point of the contest when Jack Barnett defeated Guillaume Dalmasso 7-6 (7-5), 6-2 at No. 1 before Arthur Neuhaus closed out match with a 7-6 (8-6), 6-4 victory over Zach Fuchs.

The Broncos return home for a doubleheader on April 15. They take on WCC foe San Francisco at 10 a.m., followed by William Jessup at 3 p.m. PT.
