Broncos Fall to No. 75 Fresno State

FRESNO, Calif. - The Santa Clara men's tennis team lost 7-0 to No. 75 Fresno State. On their first road trip of the season, the Broncos faced a tough Bulldog squad who has won their last four matches at home, including their win over Nevada in the morning before they faced Santa Clara.

In singles, Jay Wong lost his first match of the season to Fresno's Mirko Zapletal at the No. 1 spot. Wong battled back from falling in the first set 6-2, to win the second set 6-2. Ultimately, he fell in the third set, 10-4.

The Broncos will travel home to host Cal Poly tomorrow, Monday February 17 at 12:00 p.m. at the Degheri Tennis Center.
