TULSA, Okla. - Santa Clara sophomore Jay Wong could not get past the third round of Pre-Qualifying of the Polo/Ralph Lauren All-American Championships. Wong fell in straight sets to Jose Perdomo of Ball State in the third round.
After defeating the No. 33 seed on Saturday, Wong could not get past the No. 17 seed, Perdomo. Perdomo won 6-4, 6-4 to knock Wong out of the tournament.
The entire men's tennis gets into action next weekend at the Bulldog Classic in Fresno, Calif. The tournament runs from Oct. 5-7.
