Men's Tennis to Host Sonoma State, Texas-Pan American in Final Dual Season Matches

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara men's tennis team will host Sonoma State and Texas-Pan American in their final matches of the dual season before WCC Championships. Santa Clara will meet Sonoma State first, on Friday, April 11, at 3:00 p.m., followed by Texas-Pan American on Monday, April 14, at 5:00 p.m. Both matches will be played at the Degheri Tennis Center.

Sonoma State, No. 34 in NCAA Division II rankings, comes to Santa Clara with a 7-10 overall record after losing their last five matches. Their last match and loss was to Division III UC Santa Cruz, 5-2, who the Broncos defeated in their season opener, 4-2.

Texas-Pan American, 6-9, will face Santa Clara the day after they meet University of San Francisco. The Broncs travel to the West Coast after defeating Oral Roberts, 6-1. Prior to the match the Broncos will be honoring senior and student assistant coach Kevin McQuaid in their annual Senior Day.
