SANTA CLARA, Calif. - This weekend the Santa Clara men's tennis team travels to San Francisco for the Battle of the Bay Classic. The Broncos will take on top players from all Division I schools in the Bay Area as they hope to rebound from last week's NCAA Regionals.
The Battle of the Bay will begin on Thursday with a qualifying round, while tournament play begins on Friday. After falling short of high expectations last weekend head coach Derek Mills is hoping to get his team on track. "All of our guys know that we fell short last weekend," said Mills. "We have been working hard this week and we are looking to get on the right track this weekend."
Tournament play begins Friday pending the Thursday qualifying round. Scores and updates will be posted throughout the weekend.
