SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The No. 14 Bronco men's water polo team is set to compete in the Kap7 NorCal Classic hosted by No. 6 Pacific in Stockton, Calif. The Broncos will face tough competition, facing off against No. 4 Cal on Sept. 20.

Depending on the outcome of the first game against Cal, the Broncos will either play No. 5 Long Beach State or No. 13 Pepperdine for their second game of the day.

All of Saturday's matches are scheduled to be broadcasted live on TheW.tv. As of now, only Sunday's games taking place at the Chris Kjeldsen Pool are scheduled to be broadcasted.

After going 3-2 in their season opening weekend at the Bruno Fall Classic, the Broncos moved from no. 16 to No. 14 after defeating three ranked teams, Brown, Harvard and Navy.

Senior Mark Davis was named Kap7 Player of the Week as he lead the Broncos with 13 goals scored in five games. Davis started and played in all five games at the Bruno Fall Classic. Davis had two four-goal games in the wins over host Brown and No. 14 Harvard. He also led the Broncos to a 12-7 win over No. 14 Navy.

The championship game will be held at the Chris Kjeldsen Pool on Sunday, Sept 21 at 5:20 pm. Keep checking in to see how the Broncos progress through the weekend and who their next opponent will be!
