SANTA CLARA, Calif. – After playing their best game of the season in a 10-4 win over No. 13 San Jose State, Santa Clara men's water polo continues their tough schedule this weekend in the Aggie Shootout hosted by No. 10 UC Davis.

All four opponents the Broncos face this weekend are in the Collegiate Water Polo Association top-20 rankings, including two top-5 teams.

"Our focus has to be on improving from game to game rather than wins and losses," said Santa Clara head coach Keith Wilbur, commenting on the difficulty of their schedule. " If we can do that and not dwell on losses, we will keep getting better, and hopefully have more games like that last one against San Jose State."

Aggie Shootout Game Times for SCU:
Saturday, Sept. 26
No. 19 San Jose State @ 1:20 p.m.
No. 4 Cal @ 5:20 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 27
No. 2 Stanford @ 12:00 p.m.
No. 10 UC Davis @ 6:40 p.m.

The Broncos will open their weekend with their third game of the year against the Spartans. The series is split so far, with SJSU winning the first matchup 13-7, and SCU claiming the win this past Sunday. Expect this game to be a hard-fought match as San Jose State looks for revenge and the Broncos look for the upper hand in the series.

Next, SCU will face two top-5 teams: No. 4 Cal Saturday night and No. 2 Stanford Sunday morning. The Broncos will wrap up the weekend with a Sunday night game against tournament host No. 10 UC Davis.
