Three Players Earn Western Water Polo Association Honors

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Three Santa Clara men's water polo players were honored by the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) Coast Conference on Tuesday.

Senior driver Graham McClone was named second team All-WWPA, while utility player Mac Carey and goaltender Keaton Fox were named to WWPA All-Freshman squad. Carey also received an honor mention nod for the All-WWPA team.

McClone is first on the team with 55 goals scored out of a team high of 115 attempts. He leads the Broncos with 31 assists and has started every game. He is also first on the team with 32 steals.

Fox has started 18 of the team's 25 games. He has accumulated 18 steals and 20 assists in his first season to go along with his 121 blocks.

Carey is second on the team in both goals (43) and assists (28) on the season. He started 22 of 25 games. He had the third most kickouts drawn (37) and has 18 of the team's drawn ejections.

Santa Clara is playing host to the WWPA Championship, which begins Friday. The Broncos take on Cal Baptist on Friday at 2 p.m.
