SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Top-seeded UC Davis and No. 2 seed UC San Diego will meet in Sunday's title game after each claimed semifinal wins Saturday at the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) Championship in Sullivan Aquatic Center.
In the first semifinal, UC Davis (22-5) held off fourth-seeded Cal Baptist (22-10) by a score of 5-4.
The second semifinal was another close one as third-seeded Loyola Marymount (12-16) was upended 8-7 by UC San Diego (15-7).
In the opening contest of the day, sixth-seeded Air Force (10-16) defeated No. 7 Fresno Pacific (9-20) by a 13-9 score in a consolation action. The Falcons and Santa Clara (11-15) meet at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the fifth-place game.
The championship game of the three-day, seven-team tournament is set for 1 p.m. Sunday with an automatic trip to the NCAAs on the line. The third-place contest between LMU and Cal Baptist will precede at 11:15 a.m.

Sullivan Aquatic Center, as well as its ticket office, is open one hour prior to the start of first game each day. Only cash is accepted at Sullivan Aquatic Center.
Parking: Sullivan Aquatic Center is located adjacent to Leavey Center (corner of El Camino Real and Accolti Way). During Saturday's and Sunday's action, ample parking should be available in the Leavey Center lot. The main parking structure, located on Palm Drive through the campus entrance (500 El Camino Real), is another option.
