DAVIS, Calif. – Santa Clara men's water polo had eight players honored by the Western Water Polo Association for their work in the classroom on Tuesday.

Mac Carey, Matt Godar, Shane Hughes, Jack Larkin, Reilley May, Graham McClone, Sam Toriggino, and Scott Zurnacian were all named WWPA All-Academic. Carey, Godar, Larkin, May, McClone, and Torrigino were also named ACWPC All-Academic in February.

To be eligible for WWPA All-Academic honors, a player must have competed in at least 50 percent of his team¹s games during the current season, carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or better, be classified as a full-time student for all terms of attendance, and have completed a minimum of one semester or two quarters at his institution.
