Busy Stretch Awaits Men's Water Polo

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's water polo will enjoy some home cooking to close out the regular season.

The Broncos (10-10, 2-3) will play three games in a four-day span, though all will take place in the friendly confines of Sullivan Aquatic Center.

Santa Clara, ranked 14th in this week's CWPA poll, faces No. 10 UC San Diego on Thursday at 3 p.m. and No. 15 LMU on Saturday at noon, in a pair of Western Water Polo Association contests

Sunday's regular-season finale features a nonconference tilt against No. 7 Pepperdine. That contest begins at noon and the team will recognize seven players pregame who will suit up for the final time at home: Dane Estrella, Reilley May, Sam Toriggino, Dylan Fara, Scott Zurnacian, Jack Larkin and Vinny Sicat.

The Broncos had their season-best five-game winning streak snapped with a 13-12 overtime loss to California Baptist on Sunday.
