SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Five regular-season tournaments, including one at home, highlight the 2019 schedule for the Santa Clara men's water polo team.
In addition to playing host to the third annual Julian Fraser Memorial Tournament (Oct. 25-27), the Broncos will play six times at home.
Santa Clara opens play on Saturday, Sept. 7, in a preseason tournament at Pacific and begins Western Water Polo Association action on Oct. 12 against Concordia at home.
The Broncos will make their lone trip out of the state to participate in the Princeton Invitational (Sept. 13-15). They will also play in the Aggie Roundup (Sept. 21-22) at UC Davis and in the Gary Troyer Tournament (Oct. 4-5), which will be held at Pomona-Pitzer and Claremont-Mudd-Scripps.
The eight-team WWPA Championship will take place Nov. 22-24 at California Baptist.
