
U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Cody Ferguson posted four goals and Patrick Guinn added three to lead a balanced offensive attack for Santa Clara men's water polo in its 20-6 over Austin College.
Blake D'Souza, Matt Somers, Bennett Stafford and Zach Fales each had two goals for the Broncos (10-7) who scored six of the first seven of a game that was played at Air Force.
Santa Clara scored eight in a row during an 8-minute stretch beginning midway through the second quarter.
Stafford and Billy Barry scored 29 seconds apart for a 14-2 lead with 4:03 remaining in the third.
Connor Watson had two goals for Austin (4-6).
Chase Zamborelli went the distance in net for the Broncos and made five saves.
Santa Clara scored on five of its eight chances with the extra attacker.
