- Santa Clara is coming off playing three games in its annual Julian Fraser Memorial Tourmament. The Broncos dropped three of four games, but two were by one goal. They lost the tournament opener to Princeton and the second game to Harvard before splitting on the final day.
- Friday's matchup against Concordia begins a stretch of four consecutive Western Water Polo Association games. Saturday's game against California Baptist will be the final one on the road.
